THE ENSEMBLE PROGRAMME

Scherzo's Ensemble Programme helps emerging classical singers overcome career barriers, offering 10 talented individuals from varied backgrounds a 9-month development opportunity. It provides choral and solo performance opportunities, ensemble work, aural training, business acumen, mentorship, networking and repertoire expansion, preparing singers for professional careers and conservatoire applications. It will foster collaboration and offer an alternative pathway into classical music careers.

DEADLINE: 15TH SEPTEMBER 2026

The programme is open to singers aged 18-25 who show exceptional promise, are not in full-time study, and lack industry networks. We especially welcome applications from those feeling discouraged due to limited visibility in classical music. This initiative aims to create a free, more diverse and inclusive talent pipeline in classical music.
